Cooling Autumn

This wonderful warm family came together to organise the wedding of Helen and Ben in just a few short months with amazing team work. Sometimes, when we don't have too much time to dwell on things, decisions can be made that are spontaneuos and joyful. This was one of these times.

Helen had simple, graceful taste and went for gentle cool blues and whites for her colour theme. The wedding was held at Stanstead Church a beautiful old Church on a hill with striking views and within a very short walk of the Black Barn at Stanstead, where the reception was held.

The Church was decorated with masses of gypsophila on the pew ends and we decorated the screen with a gypsophila archway which looked beautiful with the stained glass window shinning behind it.

Milk churns were filled with blue delphiniums, white hydrangea, roses, daisies and thistles and the barn was decorated with sprays of flowers down the rustic pillars and beams.

A beautiful little touch of adding hops to the outside archway completed the country feel and provided a rustic framework for a lovely image of the happy couple.

Lovely thank you letters followed the wedding and I am so happy you all had a fantastic day!
