Happy New Year!

What an unexpectedly lovely way to start the New Year! Sarah and Daniel had originally had their wedding booked for May but due to medical reasons needed to bring their wedding forward by a few months. January is not normally known as a busy wedding month and happily all their original suppliers including Hever Castle Astor Wing, were pleased to be able to help them out and pulled all their carefully made plans forward. There were a few changes to the flowers as the availability of flowers in the Winter is not what it would be in Spring but we found plenty of beautiful blooms to convince ourselves it was a gorgeous May day outside!

We kept the mixed pinks and greens just replacing pink peonies with gorgeous double pale pink tulips and adding white ranunculous and scented genista to trail from the floral arrangement on the Mantle Piece.

Sarah and Daniel loved rustic style centerpieces but chose to go with the classic candelabra which is so elegant and in keeping with the Castle. For a rustic twist and to bring a little of outside inside we made large trees of flowers and mixed foliages to stand at the front of the ceremony room. They did look impressive and were moved to The Moat Restaurant for the evening reception.

They had 3 gorgeous personalised crates painted that we had the pleasure of filling with lots of spring flowers, just perfect to welcome the evening guests and beautiful keepsakes for after the wedding.

Such a lovely couple deserve a very happy future together and I sincerely wish them all the best for this year and the years ahead.
