Rustic Barn Wedding

I was very excited when Megan and Chris came to me with their ideas for a barn wedding in Littlebourne Kent. It doesn't matter that it was a venue I hadn't been to before, their descriptions and photos were easy to work from.

Megan was quite set on the long chunky garlands of predominantly foliage interspersed with green and white flowers travelling right down the centre of the tables like a runner. There was around 74 feet of it by the time we had finished and I can't pretend it wasn't quite laborious work but it was sooo worth it! Around 8 hours of work went into the runners alone and truly masses of foliage! Some of the foliage included 2 varieties of eucalyptus, 2 varieties of pittosporum, 2 varieties of ruscus and lots of Olive, it was gorgeous without the flowers but even more beautiful when we added peonies, hydrangea sweetpeas and spray roses.

Megan carried a light weight but large bouquet in a wild style which is currently very fashionable and looks so perfect with the boho style wedding. She carried peonies, sweet peas, astilbe, phlox, freesia and spray roses with a generous helping of Eucalyptus populous, the bouquet was finished and tied with trailing ribbons. The 3 bridesmaids all carried wild style hand tied bouquets to match.

The buttonholes were a natural collection of freesia and spray roses finished with a little unobtrusive grey ribon.

Such a pretty wedding and such a pleasure to be part of.
