The first wedding of 2022 was such a beautiful one for lovely Nicola and Jon. It was quite a long time in the planning, as many weddings have been through the pandemic and all of it done via zoom and wattsapp! These two were a delight to work with. They had a baby in the midst of all the planning but didn't waiver from their plans and their date remained the same.
Soft dusky pinks, antique pinks and ivory flowers throughout the wedding gave a warm touch to a rather overcast day.
The bicycle that stands outside Winters Barns had its basket filled with flowers to welcome guests as they arrived out of the cold.
The centrepiece for the day was the lovely moongate that we placed at the front of the ceremony and decorated with 2 large sprays of flowers, perfect as a backdrop for the vows.
Small jars of flowers were placed on the chairs down the aisle and double up on some of the tables after the wedding.
Nicola carried a shower bouquet of roses, freesia, waxflower and lisianthus in beautiful soft pinks with eucalyptus foliage. Watching her rehearse that morning with her bridesmaids and see the overwhelming emotion of the day for her was a very touching moment as we finished our set up. We wish them all a very happy future together.
