Gabs and Ian at The Gardens

July 2022

About Suzanne Price

Gabs and Ian were married on a hot summers day in July. This was such a lovely wedding to work on with a colour palette of cool whites and palest blues. We enjoyed using a gorgeous combination of textures in the flowers and the foliage to pull together a classic stylish look for the day.

Gabs liked lilies but lilies are not seen so much these days in weddings, they are large flowers and heavily scented and we didn't want to overpower her, so we restricted them to the arch decoration at the gazebo and in the top table arrangement.

The bridal bouquet contained scented roses and eucalyptus and thistles to pick up the colour and was a nod to the scottish side of the family. The eucalyptus gave movement and grace to the bouquet as Gabs walked down the aisle.

Ian's buttonhole was made with spray rose and olive foliage and was the perfect compliment to her bouquet.
