Rusts, burnt orange and blues can be a bit of a challenge in May but this all came together so naturally I wonder why more couples don't go for this.
After putting together flower boards we knew just what we were going to use for Rhea and Jack, we put together a mix of varieties and textures including rusty roses, delphinium, santini chrysanthemums, knipfofia and coloured gypsophila with wild and rustic foliage, ferns and grasses to give the designs an airy feel.
Our jobs are to be creative and that often includes coming up with alternative plans last minute. The rain took its time to clear that day so the full arch that was planned had to go inside, fortunately we had enough flowers left over to put a smaller spray on the decorative outside arch - although I got soaked to the skin doing so!
The little vases (that were made up the day before, typically, in beautiful sunshine) were popped into the centre of each guest tables, adding perfect freshness and colour.
Rhea's bouquets were so beautiful in all their rich rust colours and touches of pale blue, and came out so amazingly in the photos too.
