Pampas Grass Weddings

June 2023

About Suzanne Price

Sophie and Tom were married under an arch of soft pink and neutral toned flowers and waving fronds of pampas grass. The natural, neutral colour is what seems to attract everyone, and the movement it gives like tall billowing feathers.

It's not quite so easy to work with and a lot of hair spray needs to be bought to keep it from molting everywhere, even in the slightlest breeze. Those neutral tones make a change from the clean white and green of a traditional wedding and just add warmth and softness to the mix.

Pampas grass can be paired with all fresh flowers and also with other dried materials creating interesting shapes and textures throughout.

We loved the pampas grass in the coloured bottles down the aisle, picking up colours in the sunshine.
